On December 31, 2024, my Dad suffered a major stroke that would claim his life 20 days later. On January 1, I returned from the hospital to find water leaking through my kitchen and living room ceiling from my upstairs bathroom. This resulted in a major renovation that included gutting my upstairs bathroom.
As you can imagine, the timing was awful and I was not in the frame of mind to go bathroom shopping. I called Vicki and she didn’t hesitate to jump in with both feet. “Vicki made the move as seamless as a quick move can be — while staying under budget. She was determined to make the office feel complete in a short amount of time. Even as I said the office was ‘close enough,’ Vicki was undeterred to finish it to a higher standard.
I don’t think our team could have gotten this move accomplished without her. Our move came down to the wire, with the final signing of the lease happening on July 18th. Vicki stepped in quickly, took charge of the situation and helped us imagine all that our new space could be. She picked out new colors for the walls, worked directly with the painter, negotiated what furniture to keep from the old tenant as well as what current furniture of ours to dispose of. Vicki worked with each employee to determine our office needs and then shopped for the right office furniture and the perfect décor and worked to get our new office set up as we moved from our former space.
